Soundwave Highlights Brisbane Day 2
Day 2 of Soundwave brought another jam-packed schedule of shows with lots of A-grade bands. There were too many moments to remember. So let’s get started with a few highlights and stay posted for more to come.
King Parrot and Ne Obliviscaris wake up the crowd
Two Aussie favorites woke up the crowd in Brisbane with their breakfast shifts. King Parrot led the way with an intense performance. Hilarious as always and right in your face the guys around frontman Matt Young kicked some serious ass. If you haven’t seen them go and watch them. Ne Obliviscaris brought on their own brand of progressive metal. The theme of the day was set.
Steel Panther got the crowd boiling with their show. The guys are good fun and don’t take themselves too serious. Lots bras were thrown and boobs were flashed.
The crowd then eagerly awaited Fear Factory and Ministry. These legendary bands were so tight, professional and to the point that everybody got off their feet and joined the pit.
The final show of the day was reserved for Faith No More. Dressed in white and with flowers on stage Faith No More surprised a lot of fans. The crowd loved it and gave Soundwave 2015 the farewell it deserved. Soundwave 2016 here we come.
